One of India’s largest caustic soda makers, with plants at Vadodara and Dahej
GACL was set up by the Government of Gujarat in 1973 in Vadodara to make caustic soda and related products. It now offers more than 35 chemicals, including sodium cyanide, hydrochloric acid, chloromethanes, caustic potash, potassium carbonate, phosphoric acid and hydrogen peroxide.
It has two manufacturing units, at Vadodara and Dahej, and holds over 20% of India’s caustic soda market.
